' I create my work blindfolded. This allows me to fully follow my heart, leaving no room for my ego.'.
Shut down your ego:
I create my work blindfolded. This allows me to fully follow my heart, leaving no room for my ego.
Your heart and ego often want opposite things. While your heart has your best interests at heart, your ego cares about what others think of you. That’s why it’s important to become aware of these conflicting voices and try to listen more to the voice of your heart, rather than the loud voice of your ego.
My intuitive working method aligns with the shift in art around 1910, driven in part by the emergence of photography. Because of this, there was no longer a need to paint things with precise accuracy. Artists like Willem de Kooning and Jackson Pollock broke with tradition and gave free rein to their emotions.
Through my art, I aim to inspire viewers to let go of their ego and follow their heart. Only then will you reach places you could never have found if you had followed your ego!
